| Summary | ||
| Unicon schedule was brought back on track in 1992 with UNICON VI in Quebec City, Canada. Hosts were Normand Beaumont and Nathalie Noel. With 12 nations represented, this was the most international UNICON yet. New countries were France, Hong Kong, Dominican Republic and New Zealand. There was 100 people from Japan! The attendees were treated to a non-competitive group unicycle ride through the tourist section of old Quebec, with police escort. The 191 riders on this little tour culminated it with the worlds largest unicycle chain, all 191 holding hands, riding at the same time! Quebec fielded the strongest competition ever for the Puerto Rico Basketball Team. The final game was nearly tied all the way though with crowd screaming and stomping at every basket. In the end, the younger Puerto Rico team (minus many of the older riders from years past) prevailed, with a score of 55-54. The Cinderella Girls, a sixteen member group riding from Japan, brought tears to the eyes of many spectators and judges with several highly choreographed, ballet style performances. | ||
