According to Amy Weissman:
*
* Dear one wheelers and dealers,
*
* How do you jump roap on a unicycle. Do you jump once and idle once and
* jump once and idle once? Maybe you just jump and jump and jump. In that case
* I will be distraught because that is very difficult. I can jump once and idle
* once and repeat that but jumping many times in a row illudes me.

A couple more hints on hopping and learning to jump rope on uni...
When learning to hop, remember to stand up, and lock your knees straight.
The anlkes do just a little of motion up and down, but the knees do not
flex at all. I can't say that I'd recommend putting your feet in the
spokes - this could be a nasty fall if you cannot get the feet out in
time :(
Once you have the hopping down a little, try buying a bungee strap/tie
down strap. You hook one end around the post of the uni, go thru your
legs, around your lower back, back thru your legs and hook again on
the post. This allows better contact between you and the uni without
chafing the inner thighs too much.
