construction

Gang,
I'm trying to build a uni. I've got a fork and a wheel and an
axle and peddles. I also have nice detailed instructions from Jack
Wiley's book, The Unicycle Book. However, it seems I'll need to hire
somebody to do welding for me and I'll have to buy a uni seat anyway. Do
you think it's a wiser idea just to buy one? If it's possible for me to
order a decent, serviceable uni for around $70 through the mail or
whatever, then I think it makes a lot more sense just to purchase. What
do you think?

PS I haven't spent any money on the construction project yet; I just got
parts from junk yards.
