As you know, Wood One Wheelers does the hula hoop number in our parades.
We've been doing it for at least 7 years (probably longer), and it
generally is perferred by the youngest riders. It's not difficult to do
at all, and it gives the 5 and 6 year olds a "trick" to do during the
parades. The crowds love it and them. We also have a group routine we
perform at shows involving our youngest riders using hula hoops. As the
kids get older they "mature out" of the hula hoop stage and move on to
bigger and, in their minds, better things. Still, I fondly remember how
much fun both of my daughters had when they were at that stage.
