My Schwinn unicycle must be from the 'post-cooled crust' days, as it has a
hard white plastic 'bumper' on front and back of the seat. I'm guessing
the treasure trove that Dirk Iwema found in Cincinatti are of the later
version. (assuming that's standard, I did buy mine second-hand after all).

OTOH, it is nice to know that a unicycle will last that long...
