The tire on my Schwinn says "UNICYCLE" on it. Makes me wonder if
there's anything else about that it specific to unicycles. It's time
I found out, because the tire is on it's last leg. The months I spent
learning how to ride, and mounting poorly all the while, have taken
their toll. It used to have "knobbies", and still has traces of some
on most of the tire, but in one spot it's worn clean through the happy
blue tread, down to the string-belted underbelly.

Part of me cries "Just rotate the tire and wear out a different
spot!", but while that might have been a good approach a month ago, I
think I'm probably safer with a new tire before I puncture the tube.

How much should I expect to pay for a new tire? Do I need anything
special, or can I just get a bicycle tire that fits?

O A friend of mine saw me riding and
