Seat Post Extension

The seat post on my uni (20cm long by 2cm diameter) is too short
for me. What are my options for extending the seat post? I know
that I can get longer posts from The Unicycle Factory, but I'm
looking for cheaper alternatives. Are seat post extensions commonly
found at bike stores?
