I used to think this, then one day my Sister was visiting - we wanted
to go to town (2 miles), so I lent her my bicycle and set the pace on
my uni - she said that people were only nonchalant until I had gone
past, at which point they would go goggle eyed and stare at me cycling
away with puzzled expressions..
