Shoulder/foot position

Hello all,
While toiling over the moors this afternoon, we noticed that our riding style
goes to peices when we get to the muddy and stoney torrain. What tends to
happen is we twisted our bodies and put our "best" shoulder forward. Left in
my case, right in Ians (we are both right handed though). We then realised
that this is also the side that we prefer to mount with, left foot first for me
and right for Ian. I know we have discussed this befor, but I am still not
convinced that this has anything to do with the unicycle itself because when we
swap unicycles we still lean our own way forward. Has anyone else noticed any
corrollation between shoulder and foot?
