On an American Airlines jet from Phoenix, Arizona to New York
City for the World's First Unicycle Invitational on October 2,
1971, Larry Chebowski (Arnold Wheels) rode a unicycle up and
down the aisle. The wheel diameter was about 12" and the seat
was barely 15" high. He received applause from all the
passengers (and free drinks from some of them!).
